Report: WWE Crossovers Between Main Roster & NXT Set To Continue

More main roster talents heading to WWE NXT

Main roster talents have regularly been featured on WWE NXT since the new regime replaced Vince McMahon at the top of the company in July and the likes of Nikki ASH and Doudrop, Butch and Ridge Holland of The Brawling Brutes, and Ricochet have all competed for titles on the development brand.

That is set to continue, according to Fightful Select. WWE sources believe the crossover has been beneficial for NXT in several ways, with one highlighting the Tuesday night show's increased viewership in recent months. Another source noted that talent from the main roster can evaluate their opponents and help determine if they are ready for Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. The experience main roster talents already have and can pass on to those in developmental is also seen as valuable.

NXT talents have made appearances on the main roster in recent weeks as well, primarily on Main Event where Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, Von Wagner, and Carmelo Hayes have all had matches.
