Report: WWE Postpones Plans To Introduce New Faction Member On Raw
WWE changes plans on Raw
Changes could be on the way to a WWE faction on Monday Night Raw.
WRKD Wrestling reported ahead of Monday Night Raw that a faction would receive a new member on the September 9 edition of the show from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. There was ultimately no new stable member revealed on Raw, however, and WRKD Wrestling stated that "plans changed" on the show. A new faction member is still expected to be added at some point in the future.
"Hate to say it but have to pull the classic 'plans changed' prior to showtime. Apologies. Still expected down the line," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.
Who was set to be added to a faction and which stable was getting a new member is unknown. Prominent groups on Monday Night Raw include Judgment Day, Wyatt Sicks, and the Pure Fusion Collective.
Changes are on the way to Monday Night Raw from October 7 until the end of 2024 as Raw will revert to being a two-hour show for the first time since 2012. The change will only be in place until the end of the year, however, and Raw will become a three-hour programme again following the move to Netflix in January 2025.
