Report: WWE To Push Keith Lee As A 'Monster Heel’
Lee has been a babyface since joining WWE in 2018
Keith Lee is set to undergo a massive change on WWE television, with reports suggesting he is in-line for a huge push as a monster heel.
The report, courtesy of Wrestling news Co., claims that they have been told that Vince McMahon is considering turning Lee into a monster heel, despite Lee getting babyface reactions during recent dark matches.
Late last week, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Lee is being brought to WWE TV every Monday and Friday, and working dark matches at the Raw and SmackDown tapings in order to change his style, give him a new character, and practice in front of fans.
Lee has been a face ever since joining WWE in 2018, a run that has so far seen him lift the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship.
After being absent for most of 2021, Lee recently returned to the WWE, later revealing that he had been out due to health issues concerning his heart, as well as a bout of COVID-19 back in February.
