Return Update On WWE Superstar Sheamus

We haven't seen him for months!

After several months away from the ring, former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus has been officially cleared to return.

Sheamus suffered a concussion early in 2019. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer also reported he was suffering spinal stenosis, a debilitating condition which causes compression of the spinal canal and, consequently, a lot of pain and discomfort.

In his time off, he's put his energy into his YouTube channel - Celtic Warrior Workouts - whereby he interviews wrestlers and other athletes while going through their training programmes.

Sheamus was a guest on Edge and Christian's Pod Of Awesomeness, where he spoke about his comeback:
“I’m still kind of in the dark about it, but I’m just training away like I’m trying to stay in the best shape I possibly can. The [YouTube] channel is there and I’m working out all the time, but also because it is very important just to stay ready just no matter what happens.”

Sheamus also stated that when he comes back he wants to win the Intercontinental Championship, as it's the only heavyweight title in WWE he hasn't held yet.
