REVEALED: Original Locations For Next Several WWE WrestleManias

WWE's original plans for next several WrestleManias revealed

WWE's original plans for the next several editions of WrestleMania have been revealed.

WWE underwent a regime change in September 2023 following the completion of the WWE-UFC merger into TKO Group Holdings. The merger has already had ramifications for WrestleMania 41 as the new regime moved away from Minneapolis, Minnesota as the front-runner and the 2025 edition of WrestleMania will instead emanate from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19 and 20.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that WWE's plans for the next several WrestleManias when John Saboor was Executive Vice President of Special Events saw the company look at New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Orlando, Florida as front-runners to host WrestleMania. Following the UFC-WWE merger, Orlando and New Orleans are "not guaranteed locks going forward" to host WrestleMania.

A major factor in determining host cities for WrestleMania going forward will be how much local markets bid to host WrestleMania. Should London Mayor Sadiq Khan be willing to spend big, WWE would be "extremely receptive" to hosting WrestleMania in the United Kingdom's capital city as the company is aiming to maximise profits.

Sadiq Khan, as part of his re-election campaign, pledged to set up a taskforce to investigate bringing more American sports to London. Khan was re-elected for a third term as London mayor following the May 2 election.
