RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title Vacated Due To WWE Tryouts

Jamie Hayter and Skye Smitson could be WWE bound

RevPro has vacated the Undisputed British Women's Championship as a result of WWE tryouts.

Jamie Hayter was originally scheduled to defend the gold against Skye Smitson at Live At The Cockpit 51 on July 4, but both women were offered NXT UK tryouts shortly after the match was booked. Hayter and Smitson accepted WWE's offer and RevPro has vacated the title as a result.

A new champion will be crowned on the July 4 show when former champions Gisele Shaw and Zoe Lucas go one on one.

Hayter held the Undisputed British Women's Championship for 140 days before the gold was vacated, having defeated Gisele Shaw for the title back in February. Hayter previously wrestled in NXT UK at an April 2019 show when she was defeated by Piper Niven. She has also previously appeared in AEW and wrestled twice for Tony Khan's promotion in 2019.

Skye Smitson has been wrestling since 2016 and has been regularly featured on the European independent wrestling scene. Alongside RevPro, she has primarily wrestled for Pro Wrestling: EVE and wXw in recent years.
