Rhea Ripley & Buddy Matthews Get Married

Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews have tied the knot. 

Ripley took to Instagram and posted the above photo of the couple along with the caption, "Til death. 23.06.24." The post suggests they were married on Sunday. 

Ripley, 27, and Matthews, 35, went public with their relationship in 2022 and announced their engagement in August 2023, with Matthews popping the question during an outing at Florida's Cocoa Beach Pier.

Buddy Matthews was recently written off AEW TV, taking a con-chair-to from The Patriarchy in a backstage attack on the June 15 episode of Collision. It emerged following the angle that Matthews had been given time off to attend a family event in Australia with Rhea Ripley. That family event was ultimately their own wedding. Both Ripley (real name Demi Bennett) and Matthews (real name Matthew Adams) are from Australia. 

Rhea Ripley has been gone from WWE TV since she sustained an injury in April and was forced to vacate the Women's World Championship. As of last word, WWE were hoping to have the former champion back on TV by SummerSlam, which is scheduled for August 3 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
