Roman Reigns Defeats Brock Lesnar To Unify WWE, Universal Titles At WrestleMania 38

The new unified champion

Roman Reigns has unified the WWE World and Universal titles, after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas on Sunday night.

For the finish, Lesnar attempted an F5 on Reigns, only for Reigns to drop down, shove Lesnar into the ropes, and spear him on the rebound.

The win gives Reigns his fourth WWE title, and his first since June of 2016. The win comes six years to the day of his title win over Triple H at WrestleMania 32, also at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

Lesnar's seventh reign as WWE champion ends after just 43 days. He won the title in a six-man Elimination Chamber match on February 19 in Jeddah, last eliminating fellow challenger Austin Theory (Bobby Lashley was the champion going in).

This marks the third time Lesnar and Reigns faced off at a WrestleMania. The two lost to Seth Rollins via a briefcase cash-in at WrestleMania 31 (Lesnar was defending WWE champion; Reigns took the pin). Three years later at WrestleMania 34, Lesnar defeated Reigns following a number of F5s.
