Sabu Appears On AEW Dynamite, Will Corner For Adam Cole At Double Or Nothing

The death-defying legend will be on hand Sunday

Sabu made a surprise appearance on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Las Vegas, where it was revealed that he'll be in Adam Cole's corner this Sunday at Double or Nothing, during Cole's Unsanctioned Match against Chris Jericho.

Jericho and Cole took part in a contract signing on Dynamite, for which both men agreed to no contact. Jericho tried to get Cole to break the no-contact agreement by goading him with the footage of Britt Baker being attacked several weeks ago, but Cole refused to go for it. Jericho then pointed out that the JAS had Cole and Roderick Strong outnumbered, to which Cole said he'd placed a call for further back-up, ultimately introducing Sabu.

Sabu then made his entrance, hit the ring, and threw a chair at Matt Menard, which sent the rest of the JAS members running.

In his career, Sabu held the ECW and NWA World titles, and was one of the cornerstone stars of Extreme Championship Wrestling, wrestling there between 1993 and 2000. It was in ECW that Sabu wrestled Jericho in a match in 1996.
