Saraya Lobbies For AEW To Create Women's Tag Team Titles

Could All Elite Wrestling debut another set of championships soon? 

The promotion celebrated International Women's Day on Wednesday, March 8 and Saraya took to social media following a tweet from AEW, urging the company to celebrate the day in the perfect way by introducing AEW Women's Tag Team Championships. 

Saraya wrote: "Perfect way to celebrate would be to bring in Women's tag titles."

AEW often features women's tag team matches on TV. The company could conceivably put together a women's tag team division with the likes of Jamie Hayter & Britt Baker, Saraya & Toni Storm, and Tay Melo & Anna Jay, among others. The promotion previously held the AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament in the summer of 2020, which was won by Diamante and Ivelisse. 

Willow Nightingale also recently urged AEW to establish a women's tag team division. All Elite Wrestling currently has two women's singles titles. Jamie Hayter is the reigning AEW Women's World Champion, while Jade Cargill holds the TBS Championship.
