Sasha Banks Finishes Filming Her First Movie

Sasha Banks remains busy outside of WWE.

Real name Mercedes Varnado, Banks revealed on Sunday that she had "just wrapped my first movie in #Bosston." Banks has been spotted in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts over the past month, including at a Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat NBA game on November 30. 

WWE were recently in Boston for Survivor Series WarGames on November 26 but Banks was not in action at the show. She has been away from WWE since she and Naomi walked out of the May 16 edition of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute. WWE suspended Banks and Naomi following the incident and stripped them of the Women's Tag Team Championships. 

Banks has been in talks with WWE about a return since the new regime of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan replaced Vince McMahon at the top of the company in July. As of last word, there were "hang-ups" in negotiations over money.

The former Raw Women's Champion has continued to train inside the squared circle during her hiatus, recently posting a montage of her wrestling at Bandido's gym.
