Scotty 2 Hotty To Face Joey Janela At GCW's Die 4 This

Scotty 2 Hotty is set to wrestle his first match since leaving WWE on New Year's Day as he takes on Joey Janela at GameChanger Wrestling's Die 4 This.

The bout has been made official after Scotty called out Janela on social media. Janela had been due to take on Drew Parker at the event but the match has been called off due to a change in Japanese travel restrictions. 

Scotty wrote: "I heard it’s a little cold for baseball in Atlantic City this time of year, but I’m down to take a little batting practice anyways...What do ya think, Bad Boy?"

Janela would respond: "First match in 6 years! Time to burn it down with The Bad Boy in Atlantic City!”

GCW would later confirm the bout, with the two to face each other at Die 4 This next weekend.

Scotty announced in November that he had requested and had been granted his release from WWE, where he had been working as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center since 2016.
