Seth Rollins Discusses Plans Post WWE Retirement
What's in store for the Intercontinental Champion when he eventually hangs up his boots...
WWE Superstars, and professional wrestlers in general, have a bump card. Every single time they take a bump they must note it down on their bump card. Once their bump card is full, it's time to retire. It's clear to see from the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Edge having to call time on their respective careers early, while the likes of Terry Funk can wrestle decades more than his body realistically should have allowed, that a wrestler's bump card varies from performer to performer.
Seth Rollins' bump card doesn't look like it's even remotely close to being filled up, but he did recently appear on The Greg Atoms Show on 1130-KWKH to discuss his plans post-WWE. Given that The Architect is right at the top of the WWE mountain at the moment, and only turned 32-years-of age in May, talk of any kind of retirement seems a tad premature. Hey, at least we know what's in store for Rollins come say... 2032 ish?
Here's what Seth had to say: "I’ve already kind of got something going with my wrestling school back home in Iowa. I think once I get off the road and my in-ring career is done take probably at least take a few years off and relax a little bit. You know, but who knows I always like giving back to the business.
"It’s been my passion, like you said, my entire life. So it’s certainly something I feel like I’ll be involved in one way or another for as long as I can as long as I’m giving something and you know making progress, not just kind of stagnating."
