Jim Ross Hospitalised Due To Difficulty Breathing

Jim Ross has been hospitalised due to difficulty breathing

Jim Ross has been admitted to hospital once again, with the legendary wrestling announcer again experiencing difficulty when breathing.

The All Elite Wrestling announcer was admitted to hospital in late May due to shortness of breath, and revealed on X/Twitter on June 25 that he had once again been hospitalised:

"Another trip to the ER. Difficulty breathing. Likely an overnight stay. I’ll be ok. Let’s fight!" posted Ross.

Ross has been dealing with several medical conditions as of late, with the WWE Hall of Famer having battled with skin cancer amongst other complaints over the past few years. JR was hopeful of calling the action at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door III on June 30, but this latest stay in the hospital has plunged his participation at the pay-per-view event into doubt.

JR’s last AEW PPV appearance came at Dynasty on April 21. The veteran announcer signed a one-year extension on his AEW deal earlier in 2024, but admitted that this could be his last year as a pro-wrestling commentator after a 50-year career that has seen him work for the likes of NWA, WCW, WWE, NJPW, and AEW amongst others.
