Seth Rollins Officially Removed As Captain Of Team Hogan At WWE Crown Jewel

Down to just one match...

Though it seemed possible that the WWE Universal champion could pull double-duty at the event, Seth Rollins has been removed from Hulk Hogan's quintet in the ten-man tag at WWE Crown Jewel.

Instead, Rollins will wrestle in just one match, defending his belt against The Fiend in a falls count anywhere match.

Rollins was one of the original members named to Hulk Hogan's team for the ten-man tag, alongside Rusev. With this change, Rusev and Ricochet are the only confirmed members of Hogan's team, with three still to be named.

Ric Flair's opposing team for the match consists of Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Shinsuke Nakamura, with one open spot.

Hogan and Flair are serving as the honorary "coaches" for the bout.

The card for Crown Jewel in Riyadh on October 31 currently has six matches:

*WWE World: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Cain Velasquez

*WWE Universal/Falls Count Anywhere: Seth Rollins (c) vs. The Fiend

*Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury

*Team Hogan (Rusev, Ricochet and three TBA) vs. Team Flair (Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura, and TBA)

*Mansoor vs. Cesaro

*Tag Team Turmoil: The New Day, Viking Raiders, The Revival, Lucha House Party, Heavy Machinery, The OC, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, and The B-Team.
