Seth Rollins Written Off WWE TV

Seth Rollins gone from WWE TV

While the plan is for Seth Rollins to face Bronson Reed, the match won't be taking place immediately.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Reed's attack was carried out to write Rollins off TV as the former World Heavyweight Champion is currently banged up. The injury angle with Dakota Kai on Raw was also done due to an injury she is dealing with.

"Remember on Monday we were talking about Seth and Dakota? It was done for injury reasons...I don't know how serious. I asked if those were storyline covers for injuries and I was told they both were. Seth is not a bad situation. Seth is cleared, he could wrestle, but he's banged up so it was a good time for him to take time off and do this. I don't know if he'll be back for the pay-per-view [Bash in Berlin] against Bronson Reed," Meltzer said.

Seth Rollins only returned to WWE in late June, having been out of action since WrestleMania 40 due to a torn meniscus that he had worked on for several months. Rollins has been involved in the programme between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in recent weeks but Rollins was taken out by Bronson Reed on Monday's episode of Raw.

Reed's attack has been widely acclaimed and put over the former JONAH in a big way as he decimated Rollins with several Sentons and six Tsunamis.
