WWE fans could see a return later today at Crown Jewel
Today’s Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia could be a notable one for several WWE names, and it could also provide a surprise for the women’s division with a new addition rumoured to be arriving imminently for the event.
After it was revealed that former NXT Women’s Champion & WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane had been added internally to the WWE roster once again over the last few days, a report from PWInsider has indicated that Sane may be back in the fold sooner rather than later. The report notes that there is talk of Sane’s WWE comeback coming as soon as Crown Jewel, though there is nothing on where she factors into creative plans as of yet. It is also noted in the report that those asked in Japan are expecting her to be on US soil this month at some point.
Sane previously left WWE back in 2021, returning to Japan and becoming the inaugural IWGP Women’s World Champion, before dropping the gold to Mercedes Mone.
