Tag Team Title Unification Match Added To WWE WrestleMania Backlash

It's winners take all

A match to unify the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team titles has been added to WrestleMania Backlash, as RK-Bro and The Usos will put their belts on the line in a winners take all match. The match was officially announced on Friday's WWE SmackDown.

The possibility of unifying the belts was broached during a segment with The Usos and Roman Reigns on last week's SmackDown. Reigns himself recently unified the WWE World and Universal titles after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.

The Usos have been SmackDown Tag Team champions since July 18, after defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio on the kickoff show of Money in the Bank.

Randy Orton and Riddle have held the Raw belts since March 7, after winning them in a triple threat match from champions Alpha Academy on an episode of Raw.

The current card for WWE WrestleMania Backlash, taking place Sunday, May 8 at Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI, is as follows:

* SmackDown Women's/I Quit match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

* Tag Team Title Unification: RK-Bro (Raw) vs. The Usos (SmackDown)

* Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins
