The Brawling Brutes To Appear On WWE NXT

In a somewhat surprising announcement, it was revealed on Monday Night Raw that The Brawling Brutes of Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch would be appearing on Tuesday's episode of NXT. What the faction will be doing on the developmental brand is unknown. 

The Brawling Brutes are currently a part of Friday Night SmackDown and have been feuding with Imperium for over a month. The two stables will collide at Extreme Rules on October 8 in a Six-Man Tag Team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match. Before that, Sheamus will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship in a rematch from Clash At The Castle. 

Ridge Holland and Butch spent multiple years in NXT and they were briefly in a faction together on the then-black and gold brand in 2021. Sheamus has only competed on NXT TV twice, with those matches taking place in 2013 and 2014. 

Already announced for tonight's episode of NXT is Andre Chase vs. Von Wagner in an NXT North American Title Ladder Match qualifier, a State of the Commonwealth address from Pretty Deadly, Toxic Attraction vs. Alba Fyre, Nikkita Lyons, and Zoey Stark, and the latest edition of The Grayson Waller Effect.
