The Young Bucks Invited To Impact Wrestling "TNA" Event In 2020
Will they accept?
It was announced by Impact Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore at Saturday night's "All Glory" event in Chicago that for one night in 2020, during WrestleMania weekend, "TNA" would be making a comeback as a one night only special.
Shortly after, current Impact World Tag Team champion Ethan Page had a Twitter exchange with The Young Bucks, who responded to him (through Matt Jackson's Twitter) with a photo of themselves from their time in TNA a decade ago.
D'Amore replied, "Let’s do it! As @THETOMMYDREAMER would say no politics, no BS, just wrestling. I wonder what @fakekinkade & @SuperChrisSabin are up to? Generation Me vs. The Motor City Machine Guns! Why do you say MattJackson13 & @NickJacksonYB? Are you ready to #CrossTheLine #ThisIsImpact"
Using the name Generation Me, Matt and Nick Jackson (or rather, Max and Jeremy Buck) signed with TNA at the end of 2009, following a dark match against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.
The pair competed in Total Nonstop Action into the summer of 2011. On several occasions, the two crossed paths with Sabin and Shelley on pay-per-view, including an Ultimate X match at the 2010 Destination X, and a Full Metal Mayhem match at Final Resolution later that year.
