Update On Keith Lee's Return To WWE Raw Reportedly Revealed

Lee had been absent from WWE for five months

A packed Monday Night Raw saw a number of returns and debuts, but one that was kept well hidden by WWE was Keith Lee's comeback.

Lee returned to challenge WWE Champion Bobby Lashley this past week, featuring on the red brand for the first time since early February, ending a five-month absence from WWE television.

No reason has been given as of yet for Lee's prolonged absence from WWE but PWInsider are reporting that the 36-year-old's return is not a 'one-and-done' deal and that Lee has been 'cleared' to return to performing for the promotion.

The language used indicates that Lee's absence from WWE was due to a medical issue and not down to creative issues. The former NXT Champion has said on social media in the past few weeks that he will talk about the situation as soon as he could.

The report indicates that the plan is to keep Lee a part of the Raw roster going forward. Lee had been moved to Raw initially in August 2020, first appearing on red brand after SummerSlam.
