Update On The Usos' WWE Contract Status

Us-gos?

The talk of the WWE Universe at the moment surrounds the respective contract statuses of the company's top stars following the news that Dean Ambrose will be leaving when his deal is up at the end of April.

Last week, it was reported that WWE called a number of talents whose contracts are up soon into a room backstage at SmackDown to offer them new deals for more money. While it's unclear at the time of writing if The Usos were part of that crew of wrestlers, we do have an update on their contractual status with WWE.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Jimmy and Jey have not yet penned new deals with WWE. Of course, the mind immediately goes to "OMG they're heading for AEW" because that's what EVERYONE is saying these days. But you simply can't rule out the brothers not accepting immediately as a bargaining tool to get a bit more money.

Nevertheless, in this day and age where WWE are reportedly throwing money at their biggest stars, it's still a bit surprising to hear of a couple of them having uncertain futures.
