WWE Honours Superfan At NXT UK Event
Honey Williams was honoured by WWE NXT UK at a recent event
WWE have honoured one of their most dedicated UK fans at a recent NXT UK event.
Honey Williams has been in attendance for every single taping of NXT UK, often travelling nine-hours via bus to catch the action. To celebrate Honey’s dedication to NXT UK, WWE surprised her with her own NXT UK Women’s Championship title belt, signed by the entire NXT UK roster.
Honey was invited into the ring to pose for pictures, before a video message played from Shawn Michaels, with HBK saying the following:
“I just wanted to say, on behalf of myself, the WWE, and of course the NXT UK family – thank you so much for your loving and caring support over the years. All of our best, and we love you sweetheart. Thank you so much!”
Cultaholic’s own Tom Campbell caught up with Honey and asked her how she felt about WWE’s touching gesture:
“Since it happened I’ve said the word ‘miracle’ a lot of times. I was up until 3am messaging everyone 'thank you' messages… just the amount of gratitude that I have to everyone that they even considered doing something like that for me, let alone actually doing it and being so lovely to me, it was… more than I can say it was just a miracle, that’s the only word I can say that can do it justice.”
Triple H Tweeted his own tribute to Honey, saying:
“Every @WWE Superstar owes their success to our fans. Honey, YOU are the embodiment of not only #WeAreNXTUK but the entire WWE Universe. Thank you for your dedication, your passion, and for showing everyone what a true superstar is!”
