WWE NXT Announces First-Ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

NXT General Manager William Regal announced during New Year's Evil that the first-ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will take place later this year. Regal noted he came to the decision after looking at the strength of the NXT women's roster. No further details were made available.
The announcement comes as WWE is gearing up for the latest Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. So far, 10 teams have been announced for the men's tournament and the in-ring action is scheduled to begin next week with The Undisputed ERA vs. Breezango and The Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Ever-Rise. The winners will capture the Dusty Cup and earn a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship.
