WWE NXT Fight Pit 2 Possibly Scrapped

WWE is no longer advertising the match...

NXT New Year's Evil is only hours away and one of the event's matches may have been cancelled.

WWE announced back on December 23 that Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher would go one on one inside a Fight Pit at New Year's Evil, but the company has stopped advertising the match. It can no longer be found within the official preview of tonight's show on WWE.com and Fight Pit II was omitted from the latest rundown of the card on social media. Furthermore, if you try and click on the match's preview page on WWE.com, you will receive an "access denied" message.

The match could, of course, still take place despite it being pulled from the official preview, but fans will have to wait until NXT goes on the air to find out.

Check out the advertised card for NXT New Year's Evil below:
• Finn Balor (c) vs. Kyle O'Reilly - NXT Championship
• Karrion Kross vs. Damian Priest
• Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez - Last Woman Standing Match
• Santos Escobar (c) vs. Gran Metalik - NXT Cruiserweight Championship
• Return of Boa & Xia Li
