WWE NXT Scores Highest Viewership Since October

Fine numbers for NXT

The December 28 episode of WWE NXT drew the highest viewership numbers for the program in over two months.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, this week's NXT achieved an audience of 662,000 viewers, which is a significant increase from the 591,000 that tuned in for last Tuesday's episode.

In the crucial 18-49 demographic, NXT this week scored a 0.16 rating, which equates to around 211,000 viewers. Again, this is well up on the 0.11 (148,000 viewers) that NXT achieved in last Tuesday's show.

These numbers mean that, in both overall viewership and the key 18-49 category, NXT earned their highest numbers since the October 26 episode.

It is also notable that this week's episode of NXT saw a median age in their viewership of 59, which is the lowest this number has been since the November 9 episode.

This week's NXT was the go-home episode ahead of next Tuesday's New Year's Evil and saw several new matches for the brand's first special of 2022 confirmed.
