WWE Open To Moving Raw From Mondays

Could WWE move Raw from Mondays?

Since 1993, Monday night to wrestling fans means WWE Raw, with WWE’s flagship show having been ever-present on Monday nights despite numerous channel, branding, and content changes.

However, that’s not to say that Raw couldn't one day move nights, with WWE CEO Nick Khan admitting that Raw could air any night of the week.

Khan made the claim during a talk at the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media & Communications Conference, with Khan referencing the fact that WWE content could feasibly air any night of the week, flagship show included.

WWE are no stranger to changing what night their shows air, with SmackDown originally a Thursday night show when it debuted in 1999, with the blue brand also enjoying a live run on Tuesday nights in the late 2010s.

Raw itself has seen several instances where the show did not air on Monday nights, but on the whole has been a permanent fixture at the beginning of the week. With SmackDown currently airing on Friday nights, and NXT on Tuesdays, it’d be interesting to see the landscape of WWE television if the red brand switched nights.
