WWE Provides Storyline Update On Edge

WWE have released a storyline update on Edge following Monday Night Raw earlier this week. 

The WWE Hall Of Famer was kicked out of his Judgement Day faction on Raw after initially revealing Finn Balor was the group's fourth member. Damian Priest then proclaimed Edge was the weak link in the stable and The Archer Of Infamy, Balor, and Rhea Ripley proceeded to beat down Edge, leaving the 11-time world champion lying following a Razor's Edge through the announce table and a Con-Chair-To. 

Following the attack, Kayla Braxton announced on WWE's The Bump that Edge suffered a non-displaced orbital floor fracture as a result of the beatdown from the new Judgement Day. There is no word on when Edge will return to WWE TV.

When he does come back, though, the former Rated-R Superstar will reportedly be a babyface once again. Why exactly WWE opted to turn Edge face is unknown. It was noted, however, that Edge was opposed to WWE's plans to take Judgement Day in a supernatural direction.
