WWE Raw & NXT Moving To Syfy For 2 Weeks In February

The flagship show will make way for the Winter Olympics

Both WWE Raw and NXT will be bumped from USA Network next month, as the channel prioritises live coverage of the Winter Olympics from Beijing.

Raw and NXT will instead air on the Syfy channel on February 7 and 14 (Raw) and February 8 and 15 (NXT).

Both shows will continue to air in their 8 pm ET timeslot.

In their place on USA will be events such as men's figure skating, freestyle skiing and men's curling.

The February 14 (Valentine's Day) edition of Raw will serve as the go-home show for the Elimination Chamber premium live event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Olympics usually impact Raw's television ratings. There is a belief that, with the strong competition from the games and the show airing on a different channel, those two Raw episodes could potentially set historic lows.

This is the first time since Raw moved back to the USA Network in October 2005 that the show will not air in its normal timeslot.

The USA Network did move NXT to Syfy last summer due to the Summer Olympics. The first episode that was bumped did the lowest total viewership in the show's history, while the second episode posted NXT's lowest key demo.
