WWE Talent Medically Cleared For In-Ring Return
A WWE talent has been cleared to return to the ring
A WWE talent has confirmed that they have been medically cleared to return to the ring, after getting physical on a recent episode of WWE Raw.
As seen on the June 10 edition of Raw, LWO’s Zelina Vega got physical with Liv Morgan, with Vega engaging in a pull apart brawl with the Women’s World Champion during a six-man tag pitting the LWO and Braun Strowman vs. The Judgment Day and Carlito.
Vega later took to X/Twitter to declare that “La Muñeca is back,” before confirming she has been cleared to return to active competition.
Zelina was originally set to compete in the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament, but was withdrawn from the bracket in May due to injury. Vega’s last match came on the April 5 edition of WWE SmackDown, with a singles victory over Elektra Lopez.
Whilst Vega didn’t get the chance to defend her Queen of the Ring/Queen’s Crown, it appears as though WWE are setting up Vega to take on Morgan, potentially for the Women’s World Championship. Vega previously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Carmella in late 2021/early 2022.
