Adam Cole Backstage At AEW Dynamite Fifth Anniversary

Adam Cole was in town for AEW Dynamite's Fifth Anniversary

It has been a week of celebration for All Elite Wrestling with the news of their new broadcast deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, as well as the fifth anniversary edition of Dynamite.

There may be more cause for celebration with Adam Cole once again backstage at the show, with it looking like the reported return of the three-time ROH World Champion could be any time soon.

Per Fightful Select, Cole lives near Pittsburgh (where Dynamite was broadcast from) and is indeed expected to return to the road soon. Reports this week echoed this, with Cole having been backstage at several recent AEW shows including All Out in Chicago in early September.

AEW have allegedly begun drafting plans for Cole’s return, with Cole having been out of action for over 13 months due to a serious ankle injury. Cole was last seen on AEW TV at Double or Nothing in May 2024, and during recent visits was said to be walking without the aid of crutches or a medical boot.

Cole last wrestled at AEW All Out in September 2023.
