AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Earns Ratings Increase But Fails To Beat WWE Raw In 18-49 Demo

Another good week for AEW overall

The Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 1.273 million viewers on TNT, making it the third-highest viewership achieved in the show's history.

Per numbers displayed by ShowBuzzDaily, the 1.273 million audience was an increase of 8.3 per cent from last week's show. In the crucial 18-49 demographic, AEW Dynamite topped the nightly charts with a 0.48 rating, once again also achieving the third-highest number in the show's history.

While the 18-49 demo rating was a significant increase of 9.1 per cent for AEW Dynamite, the number was just shy of the demo number drawn by WWE Monday Night Raw. AEW Dynamite had beaten WWE's red brand in the key demo over the past two weeks, but the 0.48 from the September 22 episode was just shy of the 0.49 earned by the September 20 Raw.

Dynamite's viewership figures saw an increase across all age categories for Grand Slam and, interestingly, the show actually tied its all time-record viewership with the over 50s audience, drawing a 0.50 rating in the demo.

Year-on-year, Dynamite was up 52.5 percent in overall viewers and up 50 percent in the 18-49 demo.
