Tournament Announced To Crown New X-Division Champion At IMPACT Bound For Glory 2021

A series of Triple Threat bouts...

IMPACT Executive Scott D'Amore has announced a tournament to crown a new X-Division Champion, which will culminate in a match for the vacated Title at Bound For Glory 2021.

Josh Alexander officially relinquished the X-Division Title on the September 23 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, handing the belt over to D'Amore after confirming his decision to exercise 'Option C' - vacating the Championship in return for a match for the IMPACT World Title.

With Alexander challenging Christian Cage at Bound For Glory, D'Amore has now confirmed that IMPACT will also crown a new X-Division Champion at the pay-per-view next month.

A Triple Threat Match will be held at IMPACT Bound For Glory 2021 for the vacated X-Division Championship, with the three individuals involved in the match determined by another three Triple Threat Matches over the coming weeks.

The first, set for the September 30 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, will see Alex Zayne Trey Miguel, and Laredo Kid do battle for the right to be in the Bound For Glory match.

As of writing, none of the other names for the tournament are yet to be confirmed.
