AEW Full Gear Main Event Revealed

The top match at AEW Full Gear is official

The main event of AEW Full Gear is official.

All Elite Wrestling will return to pay-per-view on November 19 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and it was confirmed on Tuesday's edition of Dynamite that Full Gear will be headlined by an AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and MJF.

The match was made official following Moxley's successful title defence over Hangman Page, with the champion retaining by referee stoppage after Hangman suffered a concussion. MJF teased cashing in his Casino chip after the match but he decided not to, telling Moxley he wanted to prove he was better than him at Full Gear where Moxley would have no excuses.

MJF's announcement came after a promo segment with William Regal earlier in the show.

MJF and Moxley have main evented an AEW pay-per-view together before, with MJF having challenged The Purveyor of Violence for the AEW World Title at All Out 2020. That match featured a stipulation which prevented Moxley from using the Death Rider. The AEW World Champion used the move anyway when the referee wasn't looking to hand MJF his first loss in AEW.
