Bandido Added To PWG Battle Of Los Angeles 2022

Bandido is in BOLA

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Champion Bandido will participate in the promotion's upcoming Battle Of Los Angeles tournament.

PWG made the announcement on Wednesday, tweeting: "Bandido is the eighth entrant in the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles!"

Battle of Los Angeles will return as a two-day tournament on January 29 and January 30, 2022, after a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The shows will take place at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Bandido joins JONAH, Alex Shelley, Kevin Blackwood, Lio Rush, Black Taurus, Daniel Garcia and Jack Cartwheel in the tournament.

Bandido is also a former BOLA winner, having emerged victorious from the tournament in 2019. He then went on to defeat Jeff Cobb for the PWG World Championship in December of that year and he has held the title ever since, defending it successfully against the likes of Black Taurus and Alex Shelley.

The luchador was also previously the ROH World Champion but the title was vacated ahead of Final Battle on December 11 after Bandido tested positive for COVID-19. Jonathan Gresham would defeat Jay Lethal for the vacant championship in the main event of the pay-per-view.
