Brock Lesnar To Appear On 12/3 WWE SmackDown

The suspension has been lifted

Brock Lesnar will return to WWE programming on the December 3 episode of SmackDown, following the announcement that Lesnar's kayfabe suspension had been lifted.

In the main event of Friday's SmackDown, Sami Zayn won a "Black Friday" Battle Royal to earn a shot at WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns. Moments after Zayn's victory, Kayla Braxton went to interview him, when she received word through her earpiece about Lesnar's impending return.

She then made the announcement of Lesnar's return, upon which Reigns and Paul Heyman were shown stunned backstage, while The Usos glared at Heyman.

The first word of Lesnar's suspension being lifted was broached during Survivor Series this past Sunday, when Braxton questioned Heyman about a rumor that Lesnar was coming back. Heyman dismissed it at the time. Heyman again dismissed the notion earlier during Friday's SmackDown.

The "suspension" was levied on the October 22 episode of SmackDown, in which Lesnar attacked several WWE officials (including Adam Pearce) a day after losing to Reigns via chicanery at Crown Jewel.

As for the aforementioned battle royal, Zayn won after eliminating Jeff Hardy. Hardy was celebrating victory, not realizing that Zayn had never been eliminated, when Zayn snuck up and eliminated him.
