Drew McIntyre To Face Randy Orton On WWE Raw

The feud gets renewed

WWE champion Drew McIntyre will be in non-title action on this Monday's episode of WWE Raw, as he takes on the man he won the belt from in November, Randy Orton.

The two were originally set to face off in a match on Raw last month. However, McIntyre was forced to quarantine after a positive COVID test, scrapping the match for the time being.

McIntyre will also be addressing Sheamus on Monday's broadcast. On last week's show, Sheamus attacked supposed friend McIntyre with a Brogue Kick, and later issued a challenge to McIntyre for the WWE title.

McIntyre has already accepted the challenge, but will further address the altercation on Monday. When that match between the two will take place is not yet official.

Orton chased McIntyre's WWE title, beginning late in the summer of 2020. After McIntyre managed to retain in the first few battles, Orton defeated him for the title in October at Hell in a Cell. McIntyre regained the belt 22 days later on an episode of Raw, in a no disqualification match.
