EXCLUSIVE: Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn Want WWE WrestleMania In SCOTLAND

WWE talents want WrestleMania in Scotland!

WrestleMania in Scotland? WWE's Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre want it to happen.

WWE are set to hold their first-ever pay-per-view in Scotland on June 15 when Clash at the Castle emanates from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. Speaking with Cultaholic's Fraser Porter ahead of the show, both Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre campaigned for WWE to bring the company's biggest show of the year, WrestleMania, to their home country.

"Drew [McIntyre] has been fighting for this [Clash at the Castle in Scotland] for so long and since NXT UK we've been pushing so hard for this pay-per-view, but he's really led the way there. He deserves his match, we deserve our match. We're all so happy and I know the crowd is going to show up tonight and tomorrow and show exactly why we should have had this years ago," Alba Fyre said.

Isla Dawn then added: "And why we should be back year after year, WrestleMania in Murrayfield. Putting it out now... I would prefer Scotland. I would take UK all around."

Alba Fyre ended by noting that London's "not bad at all. It's just not Scotland."

Murrayfield is the national stadium of Scotland's rugby union team. The venue in Edinburgh has a capacity of 67,000.

There has been much talk about WWE holding WrestleMania outside of North America in recent months. London Mayor Sadiq Khan pledged to set up a taskforce to look into bringing WrestleMania to London as part of his re-election campaign, while Saudi Arabia is looking to host WrestleMania or Royal Rumble in 2026 or 2027 as part of an enhancement to their current deal with WWE.
