Saudi Arabia Looking To Host WWE WrestleMania Or Royal Rumble In 2026/27

WWE WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia?

WWE WrestleMania could head to the Middle East within only a couple of years.

Chair of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh said in recent weeks that Saudi Arabia is looking to bring Royal Rumble or WrestleMania to the country as part of an "enhancement" to their existing deal with WWE that will be announced later this month.

No timetable was originally revealed but Alalshikh has since revealed on the MMA Hour the Saudi GEA is talking about holding Royal Rumble or WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia in either 2026 or 2027.

"We are talking around 26-27," Alalshikh said.

Saudi Arabia and WWE inked a 10-year partnership in 2018 and the pro wrestling company now holds two pay-per-views in the country per year since the deal was expanded. WWE King & Queen of the Ring will emanate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25.

Neither WrestleMania nor Royal Rumble have ever taken place outside of the United States or Canada. London Mayor Sadiq Khan recently pledged to set up a taskforce to look into bringing more American sports to the UK capital, including WrestleMania. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque replied with "Let's Talk", noting the company were interested in possibly bringing their biggest show of the year to London.
