Final Participant Decided For AEW Forbidden Door TNT Title Ladder Match
The TNT Championship ladder match field is complete
AEW’s Forbidden Door 2024 PPV event is taking place on Sunday June 30 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, and one of the matches on the show will see a brand new TNT Champion crowned.
After former TNT Champion Adam Copeland was ruled out with a broken leg and stripped of the gold, a ladder match was set up for Forbidden Door to crown a new champion, with several qualifying matches taking place over the last several weeks to determine the competitors in the bout. On last night’s episode of AEW Rampage, the sixth and final spot was filled.
NJPW’s El Phantasmo defeated AEW’s AR Fox in a qualifying match, joining the lineup which already consists of AEW wrestlers in Jack Perry, Konosuke Takeshita, ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, and Dante Martin, and fellow NJPW wrestler Lio Rush.
