Finn Balor Reportedly Pulled From WWE UK Tour Show Due To 'Minor' Injury

Balor was announced as injured at the show

Finn Balor was conspicuous by his absence from the WWE live event in Nottingham, England, on Tuesday evening.

The Irishman has been wrestling Sheamus on shows during the most recent tour of the United Kingdom by WWE but wasn't in action during the Tuesday 9 November show. It was announced during the event that Balor was injured and would be unable to compete.

According to PWInsider, Balor's absence from the show was a 'precautionary decision' as the former NXT Champion needed to rest what is believed to be a minor issue. There has been no word as to what Balor's 'issue' may be.

Although drafted to the Raw brand last month, Balor had been part of this week's SmackDown tour of the United Kingdom, defeating Sheamus on Sunday in Liverpool and Monday in Leeds.

In his absence on Tuesday, Sheamus instead involved himself in Cesaro's match with WALTER at the WWE live event in Nottingham, interfering in the bout to cause a disqualification. This led to Drew McIntyre coming out as well, resulting in the bout being restarted as a tag-team match, with McIntyre and Cesaro defeating WALTER and Sheamus.
