GCW The Collective Remix COVID-19 Protocols Described As "Completely Nonexistent"

Game Changer Wrestling held their usual variety of WrestleMania Week events last week, including Spring Break, Acid Cup 3, For The Culture and Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 6. 

The events were held outdoors at the Cuban Club in Ybor City, Florida and GCW announced ahead of the shows that attendance would be capped at 20 percent and all attendees would be required to wear a face mask. Tickets were also sold using a "socially distanced seating chart" and COVID-19 safety protocols were supposed to be strictly enforced. 

The enforcement of safety protocols appears to have been lax, though. Sean Curtis interviewed Justin, a 22-year-old who attended six Collective events, and he noted social distancing was largely ignored and many fans did not wear face masks. 

Justin also said, "GCW's safety protocols were completely nonexistent" and "hand washing stations were out of water, soap and paper towels from Thursday night to Saturday morning, so there were five to six shows where you could not wash your hands after using the bathrooms."

Safety announcements were also not made for the shows Justin attended and fans did not have their temperature checked. 

Since the shows took place, a fan who attended multiple Collective shows and both nights of WrestleMania 37 has announced they tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
