IMPACT Wrestling Draws Record-Low Ratings On AXS TV

A tough night

Thanksgiving was a tough night for IMPACT Wrestling.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted the Thanksgiving Thursday episode of IMPACT on November 25 only averaged 48,000 total viewers, enough for the lowest rating since the show's debut on AXS TV in December 2019.

The previous record low was the July 1, 2021 episode which only drew 69,000 viewers because of an issue with the TV guide listing.

IMPACT also drew record lows in the key 18-49 demographic, averaging 13,000 viewers or a 0.01 rating. The previous low in the demo was the April 7, 2020 show which averaged 19,000 viewers.

November 25 was the first time IMPACT has aired on Thanksgiving while on AXS TV, having previously aired on Tuesday nights. The show faced stiff competition with the NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints averaging 19.4 million viewers and a 5.66 rating in the 18-49 demo, according to Showbuzz Daily

The November 25 edition of IMPACT focused on Wrestle House 2, with everyone being trapped in the house until Johnny Swinger could feel happiness again.
