Jacqueline Signs WWE Legends Deal

The former WWE Women's & Cruiserweight Champion has penned a deal with WWE

Jacqueline Moore (known to most in WWE as just Jacqueline) is a former two-time WWE Women’s World Champion, the first African American to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and she was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2016, carving out a strong legacy as one of the most important female legends in professional wrestling.

It was revealed this weekend in an article by Double Take Sports that she had signed a legends deal with WWE.

“She (Jacqueline) recently signed a legends contract with WWE! What does this mean for the first African American female to sign a legends contract? She will not only join the ranks of the Undertaker, The Dudley Boyz, The Godfather, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Bray Wyatt, and Victoria, she will receive income from merchandise sales and TV/video game appearances! We haven’t seen or heard the last from this glass ceiling breaking superstar! Her signing reflects WWE’s current regimes appreciation of what she contributed and can continue contributing to the ever-expanding world of professional wrestling.”

This follows last week’s news of fellow former women’s division member Victoria signing a legends deal with WWE, now called a “Nostalgia Deal”. Jacqueline last competed in WWE when she made a surprise appearance in the 2018 Royal Rumble match.
