Sami Zayn Calls The Briscoes 'Best Tag Team Of The Past 25 Years'
Sami Zayn has nothing but love for The Briscoes
The Briscoes are one of the most important acts in Ring of Honor history, with the thirteen-time ROH Tag Team Champions working magic with whatever team they faced off against.
Sami Zayn took to X/Twitter to lavish praise on ‘Dem Boys, with Zayn writing the following when reflecting on a 2007 match pitting The Briscoes against El Generico and Kevin Steen:
“The Briscoes are the best tag team of the past 25 years, and on a short list for best of all time. At least a dozen top wrestlers today will tell you the best/toughest tag matches of their careers were with Dem Boys. I wouldn’t be here without them. I miss you Jay. Love you Mark.”
Current ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe responded, saying “Some of the greatest memories of my life involve the 4 of us beating the ever loving s*** out of each other…love you man!”
The Briscoes put on a trio of critically lauded classics against FTR during Ring of Honor’s rebirth in 2022, but their 13th run as champions was cut short due to the tragic passing of Jay Briscoe in January 2023.
