Jon Moxley Makes Surprise Appearance At NJPW New York Return
Jon Moxley returned to an NJPW ring
New Japan have returned to New York for a series of shows, with the much hyped Rumble on 44th Street set for October 28.
Prior to the main card, NJPW hosted the ‘Night Before’ Rumble on 44th Street Event on October 27, a special Halloween show with no matches announced beforehand.
Night Before turned out to be an evening chock full of surprises, with the biggest being the return of Jon Moxley to an NJPW ring, as the AEW World Champion teamed with Amazing Red, Eddie Kingston, Homicide, YOH, and Kazuchika Okada to defeat Jay White, El Phantasmo, Juice Robinson, Tom Lawlor, Jorel Nelson, and Royce Isaacs in Elimination Tag Action, with Moxley and Kingston standing tall as sole survivors.
This was Moxley’s first New Japan match since his clash with El Desperado in July at Music City Mayhem.
