Zack Sabre Jr's NJPW Royal Quest IV Opponent Revealed
Who will Zack Sabre Jr. face at NJPW Royal Quest IV?
Zack Sabre Jr.'s opponent at NJPW Royal Quest IV has been made official by New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
ZSJ was in action on the Road to Destruction tour on September 11 as Sabre teamed with Kosei Fujita against SANADA and Taichi of Just 5 Guys. Surprisingly, Sabre ended up taking the pin in the match from SANADA and New Japan have since announced it will be Zack Sabre Jr. vs. SANADA at Royal Quest IV.
The match may end up becoming Sabre's first defence of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Zack won the G1 Climax earlier this year but instead of waiting for Wrestle Kingdom 19, Sabre said he wanted the match at King of Pro Wrestling. The match was soon made official and ZSJ will challenge Tetsuya Naito for NJPW's top title on October 14.
NJPW Royal Quest IV will be held at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, England on Sunday, October 20. Also announced for the card is an NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Title match of champions Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii.
