Juice Robinson Is Done With NJPW

Juice Robinson's NJPW expired earlier this year

Former IWGP US Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson has said he is done with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Robinson’s contract with NJPW expired in January, and speaking with Wrestling Observe Live, Robinson said the following:

“I don’t have plans to travel back over [to Japan]. I am at the end of my contract. I did an extra three month extension and that ends April 30th so that will be that. I will not be wrestling under the New Japan banner any longer.”

Robinson signed a multi-year deal with NJPW in 2019, and as far back as November 2021 it was being reported that Juice could end up on the free-market after the expiration of his deal.

Outside of NJPW, Juice has also wrestled for IMPACT Wrestling, where he and David Finlay reigned as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions in 2021, with FinJuice also having a brief run with the IWGP Tag team Championships in 2020.

Robinson also stated in his interview that he doesn’t know what’s next for him, with Juice recently celebrating his engagement to AEW’s Toni Storm.
