Kane Open To WWE In-Ring Return

Kane is WWE for life

Glenn Jacobs (AKA Kane) may be focused on his duties as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, these days, but he isn't closing the door on his in-ring future.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently sat down with PWMania for an interview and was asked about wrestling again (and potentially having a retirement match), to which he said:

"I'll always leave that door open. In WWE we never say never. I don't know what will happen. I do some stuff here and there in the WWE. That's a part of me and it's something I enjoy and want to do for the rest of my life. If it's something in the ring, I don't know. Maybe you have to ask Kane that question".

The 55-year-old last wrestled at the 2021 Royal Rumble, where he was a surprise entrant in the titular match. Prior to that, his last match was the disastrous Brothers of Destruction vs. DX main event of Crown Jewel 2018.

The Big Red Machine has made several non-wrestling WWE appearances over the years, the most recent of which took place at SummerSlam 2022, where he announced the show's attendance.

Jacobs was re-elected as Mayor of Knox County last August.
