Report: Lucha Bros Sign With WWE

Penta and Fenix are reportedly WWE-bound.

The Lucha Brothers - Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo - are seemingly heading to WWE, in a move that has been widely expected for some time.

According to PW Nexus, the tag team have signed a multi-year deal with WWE. Furthermore, the report states that the Lucha Bros will bypass NXT and go straight to the main roster.

WrestleVotes Radio added that their signing is likely a 'done deal' and that the production of masks, t-shirts and other promotional materials are underway ahead of their debut.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champions' exit from Tony Khan's promotion was apparently far from smooth, with concern that AEW would extend Fenix's contract for time missed due to injury. This concern came amid reports that the Lucha Bros did not want to do business on their way out.

Their last AEW match was a victory over Private Party on the July 19 edition of Rampage.

As members of Death Triangle alongside PAC, Penta and Fenix were scheduled to win the AEW Trios Titles at All In, before it became apparent that the duo wanted to leave AEW for WWE.
